 Product Support Tips

 

 

At Cowin we recognize that repeat sales are generated by our product support
capabilities more than any other reason.

Our service department has the skills, experience, vehicles and facilities necessary to provide our customers with committed support. We invest heavily in training and participate in virtually all of our contracted manufacturer's service training schools on a regular basis.

Our Service Department:

  • Has over 90 trained and qualified mechanics.
  • Has complete facilities for heavy maintenance at all eight facilities.
  • Has over 60 service trucks (on call 24 hours a day) and an extensive parts inventory at each location.
  • Is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All of our branches have beepers/radios and other systems to handle any emergency down situation.
  • Is committed to participating in all of our manufacturers training programs annually, or as regularly scheduled. We pride ourselves in keeping all of our training current.
  • Has a Rebuild Department for engines including: Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Deutz, Perkins, John Deere and others, and for transmissions including: Allison, Clark, Funk and others.
  • Has an Electrical Department for all electrical component work including starters and alternators, hydraulic hoses, tools, etc.
  • Has a Hydraulic Repair Department capable of cylinder, valve and pump repair.
  • Has a commitment to meet or exceed all of our manufacturers recommended service training.
  • Has versatile capabilities that give you the benefit of quicker turnaround time.
  • Can obtain used parts or hard to find parts, from a related company Southern Parts & Supply Company LLC for situations where a customer may prefer a used part or is seeking to find difficult or unusual parts items.
  • Employs a Customer Satisfaction Index survey to track our customer satisfaction levels. The most recent compilation of all responses shows an overall satisfaction score of 91.3%
